Fassbind Williams Eau-de-Vie

The Fassbind family has been breeding cherry trees and distilling cherry brandy since 1395, but their official distillery in Schwyz wasn't established until 1846. Within a decade, the distillery received a prestigious gold medal from Napoleon III at the World Exhibition in Paris, which was a significant achievement at the time. The distillery also produces a Williams pear brandy made from ripe, golden Williams pears from Valais. The brandy is distilled using a counterflow process and then aged in the cellar for around six months. It has a fruity aroma with strong notes of Williams pear, which also contribute to its flavor. The finish is long-lasting.
