Gansloser Alter Aprikosenbrand

You can find a bottle of Apricot brandy from Gansloser, which comes in a 0.35 liter size and has an alcohol content of 40% vol. The brandy is made using apricots from France, the highlands of South Tyrol, and Hungary. The process begins by cleaning and removing the pits from the juicy apricots. They are then mashed in Bad berkingen. After 14-20 days of fermentation, the fruit brandy reaches an alcohol content of 54% vol. It is then mixed with clear Auendorfer spring water to achieve the perfect drinking strength of 40% vol. When poured into a glass, the old apricot brandy is crystal clear and sparkling. It offers a complex aroma with a distinct apricot scent, accompanied by a subtle hint of marzipan. On the palate, it has a rounded body and a diverse range of fruity flavors, with a pleasant fiery kick from the alcohol. The apricots primarily come from France and the highlands of South Tyrol. The fruits are thoroughly cleaned, pitted, and mashed before being left to ferment for over two weeks. The final product is then bottled and presented in a glass balloon.
