Geiger Bohnapfel im Profiltoast 37
The Bohnapfel is a type of apple that falls under the category of winter apples. It is a sour apple that only becomes ripe in early November and produces small fruits. The flesh is firm and slightly acidic, which requires a specific method of distillation. The Jrg Geiger factory "sweats" the apple, allowing its aromas to fully develop. Through a carefully crafted toasting process, the apple's flavors are enhanced, resulting in a unique taste profile that includes notes of dark toast, toffee, and caramel. The Bohnapfel brandy is then bottled at 42% alcohol by volume, which is the typical alcohol content for Jrg Geiger brandies.
