Heydt Manufaktur Alte Williamsbirne

The fully ripe Williams Christ pears are used to create a distillate with a strong fruit aroma due to their high fructose content. This distillate is then aged in oak barrels that were previously used to age sherry, which adds to its smooth and rich character. The Heydt Manufaktur Alte Williamsbirne is made exclusively from fully ripe Williams Christ pears, resulting in a distillate with an intense aroma thanks to its high fructose content. After distillation, it is then matured in former sherry barrels for several months to enhance its smoothness. Along with the Alte Williamsbirne, Heydt also offers the Alte Kirsche and Alte Zwetschge among its aged premium distillates.
