Humbel K 198 Cuve Kirschbrand

The Humbel Specialty Distillery produces fruit brandies using regional herbs, fruits, and spices that are grown and traded according to organic and Fair Trade standards. This distillery is well-known for this practice in the German-speaking region. Founded by Max Humbel in 1918 as a side business to his farm, the distillery remains a family-owned operation and has recently expanded its traditional range. The Humbels gained recognition, especially for their cherry brandies. Inspired by a book about various cherry varieties, they aimed to not only create cherry brandies with random mixes, but to carefully select and distill the finest, oldest cherry varieties separately. Through this process, they have contributed to preserving many rare cherry varieties that are seldom grown today. The scent and flavor of their cherry brandy may slightly differ depending on weather conditions. However, they all share a dominant cherry aroma that is complemented by a subtle touch of vanilla.
