Humbel No. 12 Quittenbrand

The Humbel specialty distillery is famous in the German-speaking region for distilling fruit brandies using organic and fair-trade ingredients such as regional herbs, fruits, and spices. Max Humbel established the distillery in 1918 as a side business to his farm, and it remains a family-owned company to this day. Recently, they have expanded their traditional range of products. Their Quince brandy is made from carefully chosen quinces, many of which are grown on the environmentally significant orchards owned by Humbel. It has a spicy and peppery taste, with a strong presence of quince in both the aroma and flavor. A subtle hint of honey can also be detected, and it offers a long-lasting finish.
