Peach Street Distillers Oak Aged Peach Brandy

The peaches used for Peach Street Peach Brandy are freshly-picked and undergo a fermentation process in the open air. They are distilled once and then aged twice, first in French oak barrels for 6 to 12 months and then in retired Cognac barrels for an additional 12 to 24 months. Each bottle of this brandy contains around 26 pounds of peaches, which are highly regarded as the best in the world. Produced by dedicated farmers in Palisade, Colorado, this brandy represents the essence of the region. It has a distinct aroma of honey, lemongrass, and cooked stone fruit. The initial taste is sweet like honey, gradually transforming into a peach flavor with hints of nutmeg. Adding a splash of water enhances the floral notes in the aroma and expands the palate to include flavors of honeysuckle, clove, and butterscotch. The finish is smooth and lingers on the palate.
