Scheibel Edles Fass 350 Gold Marille

The Scheibel Noble Barrel Gold Apricot is matured in new 350-liter acacia wood barrels specifically chosen to enhance the flavors of this apricot brandy. The master distiller of the Scheibel distillery determined through extensive testing that acacia wood is the perfect complement to the aromas of this particular brandy, as opposed to the oak barrels typically used for their other spirits. Only carefully harvested Styrian apricots are used in the production of this fruit brandy specialty by the Schwarzwald Distillery Scheibel. The Noble Barrel Gold Apricot brandy is developed to its fullest aroma through a slow and cooled fermentation process, resulting in a delicate fruit aroma that is softly presented but with an intense flavor when tasted. Bottled at 41% ABV in an elegant 700 ml bottle sealed with a wire closure, this fruit brandy specialty from Kappelrodeck in the Black Forest displays an intense scent of ripe fruits, oranges, and a hint of melon. On the palate, it exhibits a floral note along with hints of marzipan, caramel, and citrus. The extended maturation in premium acacia barrels gives the Gold Apricot brandy a seamlessly integrated vanilla note. Its finish is long and warm, leaving a subtle hint of white pepper. The distillation facility employed by Scheibel is unique, using gold in the AURIA process to distill their noble spirits and fruit brandies. This modern facility has been tailored to the specific needs of the Scheibel distillery and is described as the "technical soul" of the distillation process. The use of gold in the distillation results in a harmonious profile and produces noble and delicately flavored fruit brandies.
