Scheibel PremiumPlus Moor Birne
The Scheibel Premium Plus Moor Pear offers a strong and intense pear scent when smelled. On the palate, it presents a spicy fruit flavor with a smoky and peaty tone. Towards the end, there are subtle hints of wood and smoke, accompanied by the sweetness of Williams pear. To achieve a fine fruit extract, dried pears are soaked in pear brandy. The distillate acquires its peaty and smoky characteristics, as well as its deep golden color, through storage in toasted oak barrels. This is a remarkable spirit. It is recommended to consume it neat at a temperature of 16-18C. However, for those who prefer mixing, a Moor Pear Sour is worth trying. Emil Scheibel departed from his family's traditional grain mill business and in 1921, at the age of 22, purchased an old Black Forest farm which remains the company's headquarters to this day. He established the Emil Scheibel Black Forest distillery there, where they have been distilling and passing down wonderful fruit brandies through multiple generations.
