In 1844, a small distillery was established at the German inn "Kreuz-Post". Today, Schladerer is a successful medium-sized company, managed by the sixth generation of the family. The company prioritizes natural ingredients and eco-friendly production methods. They have high standards for the quality and origin of the fruits used. The fermentation and maturation process is conducted with great care. Schladerer currently offers a range of fruit brandies, grape brandies, and specialties. The Raspberry Spirit, one of their offerings, is made from wild raspberries, which are used to obtain a natural raspberry juice. By adding crystal sugar and alcohol, a refreshing fruit liqueur is produced, suitable for enjoying straight or mixed in drinks. Additionally, it can be excellently used to enhance desserts, cakes, ice creams, and pastries. The distinctive aroma of the wild raspberries is evident from the start. It has a smooth and delicate fragrance, with hints of raspberries and a subtle spiciness. On the palate, it is velvety, with a harmonious raspberry flavor that elegantly unfolds, complemented by a slightly earthy undertone. The long and memorable finish offers intriguing flavors that slowly fade away with a warm sensation.
