The Zibarte is a unique and rare plum that grows in the Black Forest. It is not commonly cultivated and has a small yield due to its size. The plums are harvested in late October and early November and then distilled. The premium spirits are aged for five years in our cellars. Locally, the noble brandy is affectionately referred to as "Zibartenwasser". It has a strong plum scent with a hint of almond. The plums thrive in the mild climate of Sasbachwalden. The tradition of distilling the fruit goes back to the 18th century, with local farmers using their small home distilleries. Our Black Forest specialties are carefully refined and matured over several years. The young winemaker group, founded in 2010, has been steadily growing and includes a diverse range of members, from trained female and male winemakers to clerical employees and toolmakers. Everyone is welcome at Alde Gott. The name CreatiWi comes from the words creative winemakers, capturing the spirit of cooperation in their young winemaker project. They named their wine NOSOLO, meaning "We are not alone".
