Pisco Alegre is a versatile white spirit that embodies tradition, craftsmanship, spirit, and adventure. I founded the company in 2016 to celebrate the history of Pisco and to pay tribute to my mother Delia Alegre. Like many others worldwide, she strived to create a better future for her family. Through her hard work, spirit, and adventurous nature, she successfully enabled her family to immigrate to the US. The name "Alegre" comes from her last name, which means "Cheerful" in English. Pisco is essentially an unaged brandy made from distilling Peruvian grape musts and juices. It is most famous for its use in the Pisco Sour cocktail, which showcases its herbal and earthy flavors. Alegre Pisco Acholada is a clean and well-balanced spirit with a crisp profile. It offers aromas of toffee, berries, vanilla, and raisins, along with a structured, round, and pleasurable taste. It is a complex spirit, containing hints of citrus, herbs, orange blossoms, hay, bananas, and even a touch of chocolate. The finish is smooth, silky, and exceptionally long-lasting.
