Description
The brandy is produced using grapes from the Ararat valley in Armenia and incorporates unique varieties that are exclusive to the region. A total of 13 grape strains are utilized, with the primary ones being Voskehat, Garan Dmak, and Kangun. This specific bottling has been matured for 15 years in Armenian oak casks. Armenian oak has a dense grain and is only chopped down once it has fully matured, typically around 70 years old. The end result is a luxurious and fruity brandy with prominent flavors of dried fruits, particularly dried apricot, sweet grapes, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, chocolate, marzipan, dark oak, and a hint of espresso. This brandy is highly popular within Armenia and provides an excellent alternative to French Cognacs.
