Bisquit Château de Lignères Vieille Résérve privée 10 Year Old Cognac
Description
Chateau de Ligneres is a premium digestif made from the finest old reserve eaux-de-vie from a single estate in the Fins Bois region. Cognac production is regulated by its own AOC, ensuring that only liqueurs made from eaux-de-vie within the controlled appellation area of Cognac can be labeled as such. The production process involves double distillation in a copper Charentais still and aging in oak barrels for a minimum period. A good Cognac is a blend of eaux-de-vie of different ages and crus. The age of a Cognac is determined by the number of years spent in the oak casks or barrels. Aging results in increased complexity, fragrance, aromas, and flavors such as spiced, pepper, and cinnamon. Cognacs exclusively made from Petite and Grande Champagne can use the "Fine Champagne" appellation.
