The founder, heir to several estates in the Cognac region, met the love of his life, Elisabeth Bowen, during his ventures in the French colonies. Inspired by her free spirit and love for nature, the first blend of this elegant Cognac was named after her. Bowen XO Cognac is a representation and homage to their romantic relationship. It is a beautifully crafted blend of eaux-de-vie harvested from the Borderies and Fine Champagne crus. With a minimum aging of ten years, this Cognac offers deep and rich flavors that highlight the aromas produced by the subsoils of these crus. Its color is akin to a burnt orange sunset, while its scent features a luxurious bouquet of violet and iris. On the palate, hints of dry fruit, preserved prunes, dried apricots, and floral flavors are entwined with gentle yet powerful spices, creating a subtle and full-bodied experience.
