Branson XO Cognac
Description
Blended by Raymond Ragnaud, a fifth-generation, family-run producer in the Grande Champagne region, Branson X.O. is an exceptional expression of X.O. Cognac. Crafted from carefully selected Eaux-de-Vie grown in the premier terroir of Grand Champagne, this Cognac represents the utmost exclusivity and refinement of X.O. With a minimum aging period of 10 years, including some Eaux-de-Vie that are over 25 years old, this Cognac exhibits a deep brown color with a bronze hue. Its taste is elegant and complex, devoid of any harshness. The flavors of floral and citrus notes are harmoniously balanced with hints of tobacco, honey, and chocolate, creating an incredibly long-lasting finish. The grapes used are hand-harvested from the esteemed 100% Grand Champagne 1er Cru Appellation. All the grapes are sourced exclusively from the Ragnaud family's estate located in the top appellation of the region, renowned for its finesse and elegance. The distillation process takes place in an original pot still from the 1800s, and sessile oak barrels, some of which are more than 50 years old, are used to impart an even greater degree of sophistication and finesse.
