Camus XO Single Estate Cognac
Description
Camus XO Borderies Single Estate is made from grapes grown in a single vineyard in the Borderies region owned by the Camus family. It was initially released to global travel retail and Europe in early 2018, and then became available in the worldwide market soon after. This cognac has a beautiful red appearance and a fruity aroma of grape jelly, peaches and cream, candied pineapples, and violets, with underlying earthy notes of wet soil, leather, and oak. The taste continues the fruity profile with quince and dried apricots, complemented by sweetness from agave syrup and cane sugar, as well as hints of cedar and peppermint. The finish is pleasant but brief, with tannic, spicy oak, and dark chocolate covered raspberries.
