Sourced from vineyards at 428 meters, the climate is a unique coastal desert with a blend of different types of soil. Vines are trellised using the traditional canopy system. Grapes are hand harvested from a single estate and gently pressed once. The wine is naturally fermented and then distilled once to proof by varietal in a copper pot. It is then rested and blended according to family tradition. Capurro Pisco is made entirely from grapes and has no dilution, filtration, or additives at any stage of production. It has flavors of ripe banana, hay, tea leaves, carrots, and marzipan.
