An XO Armagnac from Chateau de Laubade in the Bas region. The Chateau was built in the region in 1870 and has been run by the Lesgourgues family since 1974. Baco, Folle Blanche Appearance: Copper colored with perfect clarity. Nose: Initial scents of marzipan and black pepper, followed by the aroma of old oak, butterscotch, and nutmeg. Palate: Delicious flavors of butter cream chocolate, cocoa, tea leaves, dark caramel, molasses, and honey. A rich and complex taste that finishes with a hint of sweetness, honey, and molasses.
