Armagnacs from Château du Busca-Maniban are just as magnificent as the Louis XIV château where they are produced. These armagnacs are made from white Ugni Blanc grapes that thrive in the Ténarèze region's clay and limestone soil, resulting in fuller-bodied and earthier flavors compared to those from Bas-Armagnac. However, this does not take away from their elegance or complexity. This mellow, chestnut-colored brandy may present notes of nuts and ripe fig. Château du Busca-Maniban, located in the picturesque green hills of the Gers, is a registered French historical monument. It is the oldest distillery in the region and has been operated by the same family for over 200 years. The current owner, Madame Floriane de Ferron, previously worked with designer Paco Rabanne before returning to run the family business.
