Château Du Busca Ténarèze 1980 Vintage Armagnac
Description
Château du Busca-Maniban armagnacs are produced using traditional methods at the oldest distillery in Gascony. The distillate, which has a rich mahogany color, is aged in oak barrels in the historic cellars of the castle. The Ténarèze region, with its clay and limestone soil, is similar to the top growing regions of Grande Champagne in Cognac, where Ugni Blanc grapes are commonly grown. However, armagnac from Ténarèze ages longer and better. If given the choice between an Armagnac from Ténarèze or Grande Champagne, it is recommended to choose the one from Ténarèze. It has a superior maturation process and offers exquisite flavors of vanilla, spices, and dried plums.
