Chateau du Tariquet is a rare distillery that has maintained its traditional methods since it was founded in 1683. They are known for their exceptional Bas-Armagnac, which is made using traditional direct-wood-fired continuous stills. This bottling is a blend of eau-de-vie made from Ugni-blanc and Baco grapes grown in Gascony's sandy, rocky soil. All the grapes used by the Chateau are grown on-site. Chateau du Tariquet VS is aged in French oak casks for a minimum of 3 years. The resulting product is a complex, fruity, and approachable brandy with a beautiful amber color. The aroma initially suggests freshly baked bread and light toffee, with aeration revealing notes of candied angelica. On the palate, it is bold and youthful, with hints of vanilla and the warmth of roasted oak. This brandy is full of supple tenderness.
