Crafted by fifth Master Blender, Jean-Marc Olivier, who celebrated the turn of the Millennium by creating a fusion of historic and peerless vintages spanning generations of tradition. L'Esprit contains no cognacs younger than 1930, with many significantly older, from Courvoisiers famous Paradise cellar where they stock cognacs dating back to when Napoleon came to power after the French Revolution. Each bottle of Courvoisier L'Esprit comes individually numbered in Lalique crystal decanters. Sweet fragrances on the nose, such as hot fruit cakes with cinnamon, dry apricot and honey. A very rich and complex palate, with delicate flavors such as old port wine, hints of coffee beans and the smoke of a fine cigar.
