Made from high-quality grapes harvested in the Ténarèze and Bas Armagnac regions, this armagnac is distilled using a single column "alambic" in a continuous process. It is then aged for 50 years in Limousin oak barrels. The master blender has carefully selected armagnacs between 50 to 60 years old to create this blend, with the younger ones adding fruity aromas and the older ones bringing elegance and the distinctive "rancio" of long aging. The armagnac has a rich amber color and offers a delightful combination of flavors including black cherry, honey, French vanilla, custard, nutmeg, cinnamon baked apple, and various baking spices. On the palate, it presents notes of intense cocoa chocolate, browned butter, toasted walnut, banana liqueur, dried fig, and burnt demerara sugar. Cyrano 50 has a well-structured profile with a smooth and polished texture, leading to a graceful finish that aligns perfectly with its character and maturity.
