Aged in oak barrels from the forests of Gascony, this Armagnac is inspired by the legend of Cyrano de Bergerac. Their extra Old blend, XO, is made up of Armagnacs that have been aged for at least 8 years. The armagnac has a caramel color with slow legs and no sediment in the bottle. It has aromas of medium toast, oak, vanilla, black pepper, and caramel. The taste is reminiscent of butterscotch, walnut, prune, fig, and orange. It has a medium to full body with a round texture and a long finish.
