Description
The Delord family has a long history in the distillation of wine into eau-de-vie and Armagnac. Delord Freres was founded in 1932 by the sons of Prosper Delord. Today, Sylvain and Jérôme Delord, the fourth generation of the family, oversee the production, selection, and blending of the eaux-de-vie. In addition, they have 42 hectares of vineyards where they grow the most common grape varieties used in Armagnac production - Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Baco, and Folle-Blanche. The Armagnac produced by Delord Freres is fruity with hints of fresh apple and grape, and it has a warm and supple taste.
