In 1893, Prosper Delord fell in love with Armagnac and founded Delord, now known as Armagnac Delord Brothers. The business has been passed down through the generations, with Jerome and Sylvain currently maintaining the family's passion for Armagnac. The vineyard in Lannepax spans 42 hectares and grows the traditional Armagnac grape varieties. Rinaldo, the vineyard manager, takes great care of the vines year-round. Maison Delord offers a range of blends from three to over 30 years old, as well as vintages from 1900 to present. Delord XO is a smooth and complex Armagnac with flavors of vanilla, honey, nougat, tobacco, and rancio. The texture is heavy, and it finishes with a honeyed note.
