Dupuy VS Cognac
Description
The Tentation line of Cognac is a sophisticated creation that is the result of the knowledge and experience of many generations of Cognac makers. Dupuy VS Tentation Cognac is made from Ugni Blanc grapes and aged in French Limousin oak barrels. This blend includes eaux-de-vie from Fins Bois, Grande Champagne, and Petite Champagne, with an average age of 3 years but some as old as 10 years. It has rich vanilla flavors and a bright fruitiness, making it an ideal choice. Cognac Dupuy was founded by Auguste Dupuy in 1852 and his son Edmond took over after his death in 1895. Ten years later, Peter Rustad and Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen, two Norwegians, took over the house but kept the name. They also created their own Cognac brand for the Scandinavian market, known as Bache-Gabrielsen Cognac. The color of the Cognac is glowing amber and the aroma is fresh, reminiscent of early mornings in spring. The blend of vanilla and orchard fruits adds an exotic warmth. The taste combines bright grassiness and sweet pastries, with fruit flavors of apples and pears and a hint of oak on the finish.
