Dupuy VSOP Cognac
Description
Crafted from Ugni Blanc grapes, Dupuy VSOP Superior Tentation Cognac is matured in French Limousin oak barrels for five to seven years, resulting in rich tannins and a copper hue. This blend includes eaux-de-vie from Fins Bois, Grande Champagne, and Petite Champagne, renowned for their harmonious combination of fruits and florals. With its vibrant aromas and flavorful palate, Dupuy VSOP Superior Tentation Cognac evokes the generosity of a lively summer spent in the garden. Cognac Dupuy was established by Auguste Dupuy in 1852 and later taken over by Norwegians Peter Rustad and Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen, who maintained the original name. The Cognac brand Bache-Gabrielsen was also created by Rustad and Bache-Gabrielsen for the Scandinavian market. The appearance of Dupuy VSOP Superior Tentation Cognac is polished copper with hints of gold. Its aroma is reminiscent of a summer family lunch under fruit trees, with notes of rose water, apples, and warm pastries. The palate offers a well-balanced combination of power, sweetness, and tannins, featuring a fruit cocktail of pear, mango, and passion fruit, followed by hints of rose petals, grilled almonds, and cinnamon on the finish.
