In 1948, the Edelbrennerei Fies was established in Ringelbach, situated in the Black Forest region. Ever since its foundation, it has been engaged in the production of traditional fruit brandies native to the Black Forest, such as the renowned Schwarzwälder Kirschwasser. The term "Schwarzwälder" carries a local and legal protection. The Kirschwasser is crafted using premium neutral alcohol and fresh cherries harvested from the forest. The company places great emphasis on selecting high-quality ingredients for the production of their fine brandies.
