This exceptional cognac is made from a unique blend kept by Pierre Frapin and his family for generations. It is harvested, distilled, and aged on the estate in dry cellars for several decades to achieve its finesse and elegance. The color of the cognac is a beautiful mahogany with copper highlights. The bouquet is smooth and complex, with aromas of aged port and wooden cigar boxes that develop after long aging. There are also concentrated candied fruit aromas, like apricot. The palate is supple and rich, with a long finish that combines all the flavors harmoniously. The bouquet includes oxidative notes, known as rancio, which are characteristic of Grande Champagne cognacs aged for many years.
