Frapin has a large collection of vintage cognacs that are sealed and identified by the BNIC to indicate the year they were produced. According to Patrice Piveteau, not every year is suitable for producing this type of cognac. Occasionally, they may mix some vintages with other stocks. In order to be considered a separate vintage, the cognac must be exceptional. The aroma includes dried fruits, tobacco leaf, candied peels, and soft rancio - everything you would expect from a Cognac of this age. On the palate, there are flavors of aromatic walnut and fragrant woody figs, creating a lively and complex taste after being aged for twenty-five years. The finish is very long and fruity.
