The Gilles Brisson estate, located near Cognac, follows traditional production methods to create their high-quality Napoleon Cognac. This fourth-generation estate focuses on the aging process, resulting in a refined and precise blend with intense and fruity aromas. The Cognac is aged and matured for 12 years, producing a complex and intense spirit. Only Ugni Blanc grapes are used to make this premier cru blend. Despite its age, the Cognac has a relatively mellow bouquet and develops subtly on both the palate and nose. It has a round mouthfeel and a long finish. The color is golden amber, and the nose offers delicate and mellow notes of caramel and spice. On the palate, flavors of caramel, oak, tea, vanilla, sarsaparilla, clove, and a hint of butterscotch can be detected.
