The color of this cognac is deep copper or henna, and it is free from any sediment. When sniffed, it has aromas of nutmeat, dried fruits, old leather, and toasted almonds. After being aerated, the mature bouquet becomes richer, fruitier, and reminiscent of confectionery. On the palate, it starts off sweet with caramel-like flavors and a full, chewy texture. The middle palate offers complex notes of candied walnut, brown sugar, fruit pastry, mince meat, and baked spiced pear.
