Hennessy Paradis Rare Cognac
Description
Since its establishment in 1765, Hennessy has been dedicated to creating the highest quality Cognacs and upholding our philosophy of continuous improvement. The making of Hennessy Cognac follows strict standards set by Master Blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde, passed down through generations. However, when it comes to enjoying Cognac, we have always believed in breaking traditional rules. Introduced in 1979, Hennessy Paradis is named after the Hennessy Founder's Cellar, where the most exceptional and aged eaux-de-vie are kept. This cognac showcases remarkable depth and elegance, made from 100 eaux-de-vie aged for up to 130 years. Meticulous selection and blending ensure it embodies harmony, finesse, and maturity. The stunning decanter, designed by Ferruccio Laviani, perfectly complements the cognac. Upon first sip, Hennessy Paradis reveals its delicate and velvety character, foreshadowing the smooth texture that follows. The color of Paradis is a beautiful bronze-copper shade. Its aroma is complex and rich, with hints of spice, floral notes, and crystallized fruit. There are also more intricate fragrances, like honey, truffle, and wild rose preserve, that subtly emerge. The taste is a masterful blend of spiciness and crystallized fruit, gradually developing in intensity and revealing a bouquet of flavors. The complexity and finesse of the taste are harder to pinpoint than the initial aroma, as each flavor emerges gradually and harmoniously on the palate, leaving a lasting impression.
