The Hine Single Cask Selection Vintage Cognac is a limited edition 2002 vintage sourced from the Genté vineyard in the Grande Champagne region. It has been matured in French oak for 12 years. Hine focuses on exclusive and unique vineyards, capturing the essence of each piece of land. They carefully select individual casks to allow their singular personality to shine. Only 300 bottles are available. Hine Cognac has a rich history starting in the late 18th Century with Thomas Hine, who married into the company and made significant changes. They specialize in growing areas of Grande and Petite Champagne. The cognac has a brilliant gold color and a soft, elegant, and dry nose with notes of apricot and vanilla. The palate is sharper with elements of beeswax and a long finish.
