Hine Rare VSOP Cognac is a top-quality blend, made exclusively from eaux-de-vie from the Grande and Petite Champagne regions. It consists of around twenty-five distinct eaux-de-vie, aged for six to twelve years in French Limousin oak barrels. The history of Hine Cognac dates back to the 18th Century, when Thomas Hine married into a Cognac producing family and eventually took on a senior role in the company. Hine now focuses solely on the Fine Champagne growing areas and cultivates 115 hectares of land near Bonneuil. The Ugni Blanc grapes that grow on these limestone-studded hills produce exquisite cognacs with aromas of roasted nectarines, ripe apricots, and succulent melon. Hine Rare is a classic expression of the House of Hine, known for its delicate and well-balanced flavors. It has received numerous awards, including a gold medal at the Vinalies Internationales Competition in 2003 and 2007, and a silver medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2013.
