A delightful VSOP bottling from one of the oldest Armagnac producers, Janneau, established by Pierre Etienne Janneau in 1851. This VSOP Armagnac must be aged for a minimum of 4 years, but this particular bottling goes beyond that requirement with spirit that has an average age of 7 years (some as old as 20 years). The spirit is aged in new French Limousin oak casks and made from Baco and Ugni Blanc grapes. It is a unique blend of double pot still and single column still distilled spirit, resulting in a vibrant and fruity Armagnac. The flavors include dried flowers, figs, honey, toasted nuts, caramel, raisins, apples, fresh oak, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and drying chocolate.
