Kammer Kirsch Black Forest Cherry Brandy Kirschwasser
Description
In 1909, the parliament of the Grand-Duchy of Baden gave the Chamber of Agriculture the task of establishing a distillery in Oppenau. The aim was to create high-quality brandies that can be sold worldwide, and to bring recognition to Baden's fruit brandies. Since its inception, Kammer-Kirsch has focused solely on producing authentic and exceptional fruit brandies. Even today, their main principle is continuous improvement. To achieve superior quality, only carefully selected and fully matured fruits are used for distillation. Kammer-Kirsch's expert distillers employ their skill and expertise at every stage of production, utilizing only the highest quality ingredients. The brandies then undergo an extended aging process in specially designed glazed earthenware containers, kept at a consistently cool temperature in deep underground cellars. This results in a distinctive taste and a unique fruity aroma. The brandy itself has a gentle, slightly astringent initial taste, followed by a dry and light to medium-bodied palate with hints of tart, dried cherry skin. The finish is characterized by notes of honey and tart skin.
