Description

The Kazumian company was established in 1992 by Suren Kazumyan, a professional winemaker, with the goal of promoting premium alcoholic beverages in Russia. After analyzing the market and consumer preferences, Kazumyan decided to create a new cognac that would stand out from other French brands. In 2000, after an extensive search for distinct characteristics and careful selection of ingredients, Kazumian cognac was born. The blend of this cognac consists of top-quality spirits sourced from renowned regions in France, including Grand Champagne, Petite Champagne, Fins Bois, and Borderies, which are famous for producing cognac. Kazumian cognac is known for its harmonious taste and exquisite aroma, and it has received awards in prestigious competitions, further solidifying its high reputation. The Kazumian XO variant is made from spirits sourced from the three best regions: Grand Champagne and Petite Champagne (80%) and Fins Bois (20%). The cognac is aged in oak barrels for more than 15 years. The fragrance of the cognac offers notes of non-alcoholic elements, tree resin, acacia blossoms, vanilla, sweet pear, green grapes, floral hints, red apple, suede, nutmeg, sweet orange, cherry blossom, apricot, sun-dried banana, green tobacco leaf, juicy peach, currant, and sweet pineapple. The taste is similar, with non-alcoholic tones, tree resin, cherry tree, tobacco, almond, red apple, apricot kernel, mango, sweet pear, floral hints, and canned pineapple. The finish is slightly longer than average and is characterized by woody bitterness, almonds, sweet tangerine, green grapes, apricot pits, tobacco leaf, and green tea. In conclusion, this cognac is more suitable for the warm season, particularly spring. It is described as juicy, drinkable, and well-balanced. Sadly, it is no longer being produced.
