Our cognac is matured in Sauternes wine barriques from top rated vineyards in France. Our Kelt cognac was mistakenly filled into these casks in our warehouse and left for some time. After the discovery, our Master Blender created "Serendipity," instantly becoming a favorite in-house and making Kelt the first cognac house to age in Sauternes barrels. The cognac is aged for 9 years in oak barrels and then finished for 1 year in Sauternes barrels. Kelt Serendipity offers a tasting profile that is un-chill filtered, naturally colored, silky smooth, and balanced with notes of orange peel, honey, and apricots.
