This KWV Brandy is very special and has a long history. It is made using pure copper potstill distillation from carefully selected wines made from recognized brandy grapes grown in the best suited areas of the Cape Winelands. It has the tradition and skills of 300 years of viticulture in South Africa behind it. The brandy is aged for at least 10 years in oak casks in the maturation cellars of the KWV. It has a deep amber color and is enhanced by subtle spicy and nutty flavors. It also has a unique and complex aroma of dried fruit and port wine.
