Chteau du Breuil Vieille Prune "Coeur du Breuil"

The Chteau du Breuil, which was constructed in the 16th and 17th centuries, is situated in the center of Normandy. Over the years, it has been occupied by prestigious families including the Bouquetot family, Montgomery, the young Tancrde de Rohan, and the Bence family. In 1954, Philippe Bizouard established the Chteau du Breuil company. His family has a longstanding tradition of producing Calvados. Apart from Calvados, the company also manufactures a plum brandy. This particular brandy is crafted using various types of plums such as the Reineclaud plum, Prune d'Alsace, as well as plums and mirabelle plums. It is then aged for six years in oak barrels. The brandy exhibits scents of plums and almonds with a gentle sweetness. It concludes with a lengthy, aromatic, and fruity aftertaste.
