Fassbind Les Trouvailles Quitte

The earliest ancestors of the Fassbind family began cultivating cherry trees and distilling cherry brandy in Holland as early as 1395, before they immigrated to Switzerland. However, the official urschwyzer distillery Fassbind was not established until 1846. Only ten years later, Napolon III awarded the distillery a gold medal at the World Exhibition in Paris, which was at that time one of the highest honors a European distillery could receive. All Fassbind spirits are made with local fruits, selected herbs, and berries, which are either macerated separately or distilled separately in the Marienbad. The Fassbind Les Trouvailles Quince Brandy is distilled from pear quinces, which are first fermented for six weeks before being sent through the counterflow distillation system.
