Jacques Cardin VSOP Apple
Jacques Cardin cognac, which is owned by the Sidney Frank Importing company, is not a specific distillery or vineyard in France, as far as we know. It is known for its distinctive bottle design and is often called JC cognac. They were among the first to introduce flavored brandies. One of their two signature flavored cognacs is the Jacques Cardin JC Apple VSOP. The scent of this cognac is more reminiscent of dried apple peel rather than fresh apple, resulting in a slightly austere aroma. The initial flavors include apple butter, apple sauce, and spice, while the middle of the palate offers sweet and ripe apple accompanied by hints of oak, almond butter, and paraffin. The apple peel flavor complements the cinnamon-nutmeg spiciness, resulting in a satisfying finish.
