The Lantenhammer Red Williams Pear Brandy uses red Williams pears that are grown in Bozen and Verona. These pears have a slightly sweet and spicy taste compared to their yellow counterparts, and they have a strong, fresh aroma that lingers on the palate. The brandy itself has a clear appearance with a natural light cloudiness. The scent of the brandy is a powerful, Italian Williams pear with a complex range of aromas. When tasted, the brandy is strong and full-flavored, with a distinct and intense ripened pear taste. The finish is intense and long-lasting. To achieve a drinking strength of 42%, the aromatic distillate is mixed with fresh spring water from the "Bannholzquelle".
