Lantenhammer Waldhimbeergeist unfiltriert
The Bavarian distillery produces this Lantenhammer raspberry brandy without filtration, resulting in a distillate that has a greater range of flavors. The berries used in this brandy are of exceptional quality, sourced from wild berries found in the Carpathian Mountains and the Giant Mountains. These berries grow slowly at high altitudes, resulting in a rich and full-bodied aroma. After being hand-harvested, the berries are immediately chilled and delivered to Lantenhammer on Lake Schliersee. This process ensures that the raspberries maintain their intense and unmistakable fruity taste. The Lantenhammer raspberry brandy is bottled in the classic 500 ml Lantenhammer bottle at 42% ABV. In terms of appearance, the brandy is clear with a slight natural cloudiness. The smell is intensely raspberry, almost like perfume. The taste is well-structured with various subtle notes, a mild sweetness, and a smooth finish. The aftertaste is strong and characterized by a prominent red berry note. The lack of filtration in this raspberry brandy results in a more intense raspberry flavor compared to filtered distillates. Furthermore, the unfiltered spirit gives the impression of being stronger in terms of alcohol content.
