Lantenhammer Wildkirschbrand
The wild cherry brandy produced by the LANTENHAMMER distillery is made using wild-collected fruits from the Odenwald and northern Frankenland. This particular brandy has a unique and slightly sour taste, with a subtle hint of almond. It is best enjoyed after rich meals that include dark sauces, making it a brandy for discerning connoisseurs. At the LANTENHAMMER distillery, the fruit brandies, also known as Obstler, are left to mature slowly and gently in copper kettles or old stoneware containers, ensuring an exceptional taste experience. Although some of the distillates are lost due to storage in breathable clay containers, this process results in a natural smoothness and allows the fruit aromas to fully develop. The Lantenhammer wild cherry brandy is presented in a stunning bottle with a volume of 500ml and an alcohol content of 42% vol. The color of this brandy is crystal-clear cherry, and it emits a fruity scent with a subtle almond and marzipan aroma. The taste of the wild cherry brandy is characterized by the strong flavor of ripe wild cherries, which is slightly sour and ends with a delicate almond touch. The aftertaste is long-lasting, with a pleasant and mild cherry aroma.
