Lantenhammer Williamsbirnenbrand aus dem Whisky Fass

The Lantenhammer Williams Pear Brandy is made with fruits from three different regions: South Tyrol, the Bozen Basin, and the Vinschgau. The distillery places great importance on using high-quality raw materials. However, it is not just the fruit selection that guarantees the special quality of this brandy. It is also the careful processing of the fruits, the slow distillation process, and the unique maturation in barrels that previously held Slyrs Single Malt Whisky. This gives the brandy its distinct color and balanced taste. The Lantenhammer distillery, located in Schliersee, Bavaria, bottles this premium brandy in a slim 500 ml bottle with a strong 42% alcohol content. The aroma of the brandy is reminiscent of sun-kissed Williams pear and has fruity notes of dark fruits. On the palate, it has a full-bodied and delicately sweet flavor with hints of vanilla from the lengthy oak barrel maturation. The taste is complex and multi-faceted, placing this Williams Pear Brandy among the top barrel-aged brandies. The finish is slightly creamy with intense aromatics. To fully experience the diverse flavors, it is recommended to serve this brandy at approximately 17 C, allowing its bouquet to open up and settle gently on the palate.
