The historical company Pircher has a long legacy, dating back to the 12th century. The distilling operations officially started in 1884 with the completion of the Deutschordenskloster, where the production of premium fruit brandies began in the cellar. In the mid-20th century, the cellar was taken over by the Pircher siblings, who came from a well-established family of fruit growers and traders. Drawing from their extensive experience with fruit, they brought their expertise to the distillery. Since then, Pircher has primarily focused on producing clear fruit brandies, as well as aromatic liqueurs. Today, the company is widely recognized and admired by connoisseurs for its exceptional brandies and liqueurs made from fruit. They process approximately 25,000 tons of fruit each year. Despite its now industrial production and large scale, the quality of Pircher's products has remained consistently high.
